New Doll & New Family Member

 

While shopping at Target, I happened down the doll isle. (Yeah right!) I saw this lovely girl and bought her. Her name is Kenzie and she is an 18" Our Generation doll.

 

She has on a cute knit dress and vest with a fur collar. Although her outfit is cute, I'll probably have to re-dress her in something more fitting for the warm weather. She comes with a cute little St. Bernard dog which is fitting for my next news... 

In addition to getting a new doll, I also welcomed a new family member.

 

 

This is Kona, a one and a half year old lab mix that we adopted from a rescue. As you can expect, he is a hand full.

 

 

He's a really good dog and so far he has not taken an interest in my dolls!

Social Distancing with Dolls

I needed to get out this weekend so I took some of my dolls out for photos. I chose some of my 18" dolls. Can you tell who they are?

 

I visited the campus of a local university. Classes were not in session and there was a public area in front. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There was a pond that is always filled with ducks and turtles. They temporarily removed the feeding machines because of covid but you can tell they are used to being fed by people. They all swam close to us.

 

There were people there but everyone kept enough distance so I just snapped a bunch of pics.

 
 

I'm sure you know who these dolls are but I will post pictures of them without their masks in the next post!
